Rams District Games (Skyline, Jesuit, Sunset, &Richardson)

March 26 - April 1, 2010

The Rams had their 4th district game Friday night when they hosted Skyline at Ram Field. The Rams had 10 hits and scored 12 runs to and held off a late surge by Skyline to win 12-10. The Rams were lead at the plate by Austin Roderick and Colby Montemayor who each had multiple Rbi in the game. Eric Schildt pitched 5 strong innings in relief to get the victory.

The Rams played at historic Revershon Park on Saturday against Jesuit for their final non-district game of the year. The Rams exploded offensively scoring 18 runs and beating the highly ranked Rangers 18-5. The Rams were lead at the plate by Eric Schildt who had 2 Hrs and 7 Rbi. Spencer Edmonds and Josh Dickerson pitched well for the Rams holding the Jesuit bats in check.

The Rams traveled to Sunset for their 5th district ballgame. Sunset played extremely hard and held the Rams in check most of the game. In the 7th inning Austin Roderick came through with a bases loaded single scoring two runs to win the game for the Rams 4-2. Josh Dickerson pitched 5 innings of relief for the Rams giving up 0 hits to get the victory.

The Rams hosted Richardson Thursday night for their 6th district game in front of a packed crowd. Stephen Spurlin pitched a masterful game only giving up 3 hits and 1 run. The Rams could not get anything offensively and came up short in hard fought game 1-0.
