Rams bounce back vs. Richardson

After a pair of tough district losses to Plano East and Lake Highlands, the Berkner Rams bounced back into playoff contention with a 5-3 win over Richardson April 18. The Rams are now 7-6 in district 9-5A and tied with Wylie for the final playoff spot.

The Rams offense battled back from a 3-2 deficit against Richardson with a huge double from Arman Naemi. Nathan Lyons also doubled.

On defense, the Rams were solid all night and put up an error free game.

Sophomore pitcher Stephen Spurlin earned the win. Marino Stathakis came in to pitch the final inning in relief.

Berkner concludes the regular season Tuesday April 22nd vs. Plano West.
