Rams top Allen in key district matchup

Berkner Varsity improved to 5-4 in District 9-5A play with a 7-4 win over a strong Allen team April 4th at Berkner. With the win, the Rams remain in the thick of the district play-off hunt.

The Rams took a 7-0 lead thanks to doubles by Sam McNeese and Stephen Spurlin, home runs by Raymond Valdez and Chris Hendrix, and two hits each from Marino Stathakis and David Kobilka.

Spurlin, a sophomore lefthander, got the complete game win for Berkner. The entire Rams defense was solid, including steady play from outfielders Stathakis, Kobilka, and Nathan Lyons.

Rams JV falls to Richardson

The Rams JV team played at Richardson Saturday April 5 and lost to the Eagles by a score of 10-3.
