Rams take another district game with 4-3 win over Richardson
Berkner moved to 4-2 in District 9-5A play with a 4-3 win over Richardson at Berkner March 25th.
Drew Roland went 3-3 at the plate while Marino Stathakis drove in 2 runs with a solid line drive up the middle.
Sam McNeese was 2 for 3 and scored twice. David Kobilka and Nathan Lyons also had hits for the Rams.
On defense, Raymond Valdez continued strong play at short while first baseman Stephen Spurlin started a key double play. Stathakis and Nathan Lyons both made tough catches in the outfield under windy conditions.
On the mound, Chris Hendrix took the win with a complete game, 2-hit effort. |
