Rams finish season vs. Plano West
The Berkner Rams finished the season April 22nd with a 6-1 loss to Plano West, one of the top-ranked teams in the state. Berkner finished play in highly competitive District 9-5A with a 7-7 record. The Rams kept their playoff hopes alive until the final day of the season.
In the 2008 season, Berkner scored wins over top-ranked area teams Keller, Wylie, Plano, Plano East, and Allen. With quality wins over tough district opponents, the Rams broke into the top 10 area ranking on rivals.com.
Parents and fans would like to thank the Ram players and coaches for a great season. Also, best of luck to our graduating seniors.
